They’re back for more festive action: Dolce & Gabbana will design the massive Christmas tree at Claridge’s for the second year in a row. While last year’s decor scheme was Sicilian, expect Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana to take a more worldly approach and a magical woodsy vibe to decking out their sophomore tree.
“We thought of an enchanted forest where the real meets the unreal, just as it does the night before Christmas,” the designers told Vogue UK.”It is a very special tradition because it helps spread our love for Italian craftsmanship around the world.”
The tree is dedicated to children around the world, with trinkets representing various metropolises around the world. Headed across the pond next month? Expect D&G’s second stab at fancied-up foliage to debut on November 19th.
