Samantha Angelo and Sally LaPointe Host Sunset Soirée in the Hamptons

Between a new e-commerce shop, a capsule knitwear collection, and a serious fan in J.Lo, it’s safe to say that Sally LaPointe is having a moment. No wonder, then, that she graced the Hamptons for an evening, where The Eye Travels’ Samantha Angelo hosted an intimate dinner at her waterfront home in Sag Harbor in LaPointe’s honor. The festivities began with lemonade-themed bevvies, Out East Rosé, and Peroni while the evening’s musical guest, singer/songwriter Sofia D’Angelo, performed. Stylist Micaela Erlanger, designer Gretchen Maull Berger, filmmaker Julia Loomis, and photographer Keziban Barry were among the modern swans in attendance, while a few (literal) swans swam up to the edge of Angelo’s property to get in on the action (and admire the new boat belonging to the creative director and her husband, Peter Ostrega). After a Comparti-catered dinner on the lawn consisting of mixed greens, plank-roasted salmon, seared steak with purple potatoes, and strawberry tarts, guests returned to the patio, and before long, a dance party was officially underway.
