Of Course the Puma x MCM Collab Sold Out In a Matter of Hours

by Taylor Harris

Fanboys and girls love a good limited-edition sneaker.

A Puma and MCM capsule collection, titled rather on-the-nosely PUMA x MCM, sold out in a matter of hours on Thursday morning. The sportswear giant and leather goods maker partnered up on a lineup of suede sneakers and coordinating tracksuits to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the suede sneaker, which is apparently today. The unisex line took inspiration from “hip-hop royalty across the decades” and retailed from $250 to $340. No word on whether the merchandise will be replenished.

All pieces in the collection feature the iconic MCM Cognac Viseto monogram and shiny brass hardware. Each item was also stamped with a unique serial number to stress its limited-edition status.  So limited that sneakerheads will have to resort to eBay to get their hands on them now. Not that the hypebeasts among us aren’t used to that life already.

Check out all the pieces from the collection below.
