Simple Life fans rejoiced last night when Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie reunited at The Daily‘s Fashion Los Angeles Awards held at the Beverly Hills Hotel. The longtime besties ran into each other moments before our awards ceremony began. The pair greeted each other with a hug, powwowing for a few minutes before taking their seats.
Hilton was on hand to present the Fashion Rebel award to Philip Plein while Richie bestowed the Best Design Debut award to Jamie Mizrahi. Hilton, of course, wore Philip Plein to the event while Richie wore one of Mizrahi’s creations for Juicy Couture.
And while the reunion went well, don’t let it stoke hope for a Simple Life reboot. Hilton shot down those rumors last November, telling Ocean Drive Magazine she’d never do another reality TV show. “I literally get calls every single day from every network, from every single producer in town pitching me different ideas, but I feel like The Simple Life was just so iconic and one of a kind that you can’t replicate that,” she said. “I can’t see it going better than that show.”
