Fashion folks say the darndest things! Every now and then we overhear a conversation that’s too good to not share. Here’s a gem from outside the Guy Laroche show at the Grand Palais. The culprit? A very decked-out international lady of (we’re assuming) leisure. And in case you’re wondering, she wasn’t joking.
“It’s great to be in Paris isn’t it? Get a manicure, a pedicure, go to the doctor. You can do a little more normal shopping like go to Chanel or Hermès and then go on vacation. My parents have a place in Ibiza so normally we go there, but this year we are thinking of going to Deauville. Look! I’ve just started working so I have business cards now. I’m so proud!”
