Nicola Formichetti is now Claire’s creative director in residence

In a move we can say we definitely didn’t see coming, Nicola Formichetti is stepping into the role of creative director in residence at Claire’s. The legendary stylist, artistic director, and fashion collaborator will inject his innate sense of cool into the teen-favorite brand, and multiple projects already in the works. First up: C.Studio Series is a new content franchise which will see five videos rolled out from November 14 through the end of the year with fashion industry experts sharing tips and trend insights. Claire’s will also partner with V Magazine on it’s first-ever issue, created specifically for its young audience, with op-eds by Jaden Smith, Maddie Ziegler, Dixie D’Amelio, and more. And, Claire’s will open a Paris store with a futuristic feel, conceptualized by Formichetti. The mall brand of your youth could never!

Donna Karan partners with Veteran Services USA 

Ahead of Veterans Day, Donna Karan has teased a look at her partnership with Veteran Services USA. The designer and her stylists are working on a capsule created from repurposed vintage military garments, which will be auctioned off on November 11 to raise funds for the non-profit organization’s program offering mental health services and PTSD counseling. Cheri Kaufman, founder of Kaufman Astoria Studios and president & partner atVeteran Services USA worked directly with Karan on the initiative, which will see up to ten outfits in the first collection. Moose Knuckles teams up with Eckhaus Latta again

Canadian luxury outerwear brand Moose Knuckles has released its second capsule collection with Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta’s Eckhaus Latta. For Fall Winter, the capsule collection sees 12 pieces fusing the identity of both brands and rendered in a refined, neutral palette. Standout pieces include the shearling-trimmed Icon Jacket and Bunny Hoodie, Puffer Vest and Jacket, and Parka Puffer, along with the lightweight quilted Vest and matching Pant. The accompanying Moose Knuckles x Eckhaus Latta Fall/Winter 2022 campaign was shot by Mary Manning and styled by Matt Holmes, with art direction by Eric Wrenn. The collection is available from November 10, with prices ranging from $650 to $1,595.

Emily DiDonato announces her pregnancy….again!

ICYMI: Daily fave Emily DiDonato is expecting her second child. The supermodel jokingly posted on her Instagram Stories today to confirm. “Everyone seems super confused in my DMs anytime I mention being pregnant so in case you missed the pregnancy announcement, yes I am pregnant again lol,” she wrote. The 31-year-old, who’s mom to almost-one-year-old Teddy, shared the joyful news on October 24 via a shared video with her skincare brand Covey’s profile, which also announced a new product. We’ll blame the pesky Instagram algorithm…  congrats!
