Lord & Taylor Hosts Rooftop Art Gallery

Last eve, Lisa and Richard Baker hosted a cocktail soirée for the exclusive NYC debut of works by Italian artists (and real-life couple) Tania Brassesco and Lazlo Passi Norberto. The photo series, “Behind the Visible,” was on display at Lord & Taylor’s Fifth Avenue flagship rooftop, and the images, with a surrealist tinge, explore the unconscious world, the psyche, and the dream. One of the artists often models for a photograph with the other captures the image. For instance, one shot, taken by Tania, shows Lazlo in a pool, but with a touch of post-production magic, the water appears to be a massive green ocean. Attendees included HBC CEO Jerry Storch, Lord & Taylor and Hudson’s Bay president Liz Rodbell, Nanette Lepore, Reem Acra, Jane Holzer, and Saks’ Roopal Patel, among others.
