Lily Aldridge Stars in Salvatore Ferragamo’s Spring 2017 Campaign

by Sydney Sadick

Spring has sprung for Salvatore Ferragamo! The Italian brand has tapped beauty Lily Aldridge to star in its new Spring/Summer 2017 advertising campaign dubbed “Among Friends,” lensed by legendary photographer Peter Lindbergh. [It’s] “such a dream come true to shoot with you,” the model captioned a photo from the campaign on her Instagram account this morning, referencing Lindbergh. Others on the campaign team included Odile Gilbert, who was on hair, and Stéphane Marais, who was on makeup. The romantic, Mediterranean resort town of Taormina, Sicily served as the backdrop for the vibrant series of images, where models Andres Velencoso and McKenna Hellam also shined. The trio modeled the brand’s latest range of men’s and women’s clothes and accessories, marking Fulvio Rigoni‘s—the new head of women’s ready-to-wear—first collection. Standout looks include a feminine fluted hem dress worn by Aldridge, a sporty-chic navy shirt with matching slouchy trousers donned by Hellam, and a cerulean blue shirt rolled up at the sleeves paired with cropped trousers on Velencoso, all of which are seen against some of the town’s most lush and natural of settings.
