British lingerie retailer Agent Provocateur turns up the sexy quotient in its new Spring/Summer 2017 advertising campaign starring up-and-coming mod, Andreea Diaconu. The 25-year-old Romanian belle was styled by Jane How in a London studio not far from the brand’s first store in Soho, portraying the intimacy of the female form in fluid movement in a range of images lensed by Mario Sorrenti.
The collection takes inspiration from foot fetish photographer Elmer Batters, who created images of women with an emphasis on stockings, legs, and feet back in the 1970s. “Elmer is a true inspiration for my design process and it was a dream of mine to be able to realize my vision through our latest advertising campaign with Mario,” Shotton said in a press statement. “Andreea was the perfect model to capture the modern interpretation of such a strong confident iconic movement.”
The campaign features creative director Sarah Shotton‘s seductive designs—a nod to the ’70s like the ‘Angelica,’ a new iteration of the best-selling crop top ‘Annoushka,’ which features stretch mesh layered with a bondage lace ribbon. Another? The ‘Sofia’ waistcoat bra in black lace, and the nude chiffon ‘Cora’ set trimmed withhand appliquéd black French leavers lace—so many pieces to lust over!
