Kenzo Launches E-Commerce in the U.S.

by Paige Reddinger

Good news for Kenzo fanatics who are seeking a Stateside fix: For the first time in its history, the French brand is launching e-commerce in the U.S. (where it currently doesn’t have any freestanding stores). The site features limited-edition exclusives, such as the brand’s now-famous tiger T-shirts and sweatshirts along with a special holiday collection.

“Ever since our beginnings at Kenzo we have always put our online activity at the forefront of the brand’s development,” said designers Carol Lim and Humberto Leon. “We are excited at how quickly the online business has grown across Europe and helped us to build a strong, loyal, and dynamic community. We feel Kenzo is now ready to enter a new market, our home market.”

Always ahead of the art and culture curve, Lim and Leon plan to use the new shopping platform to feature more artists, photographers, directors, and writers. The site’s development and integration was designed in-house by Itélios and Big Youth.

There’s plenty to covet—if only it was summer already! We have our eye on this multicolored Z Stripe dress and these silver flat sandals. Let the Kenzo craze continue.
