KCD has new top management in place. Co-presidents Julie Mannion and Ed Filipowski announced today that they have named eight new partners at the fashion and lifestyle agency. Rumors that Mannion and Filipowski were either looking to sell or looking to take on chairman roles were being whispered as early as September 2015.
“The agency/client relationship has changed as fashion has evolved in the past decade. Thinking broader and bigger is thinking better,” said Filipowski in a press statement. “Clients at every level want an agency that is structured with top-level management capable of providing industry insight and guidance.” Each of the eight new partners (listed below with corresponding new titles) has an average tenure of 15 years at KCD and will have an ownership stake in KCD. Mannion and Filipowski will step aside as co-presidents to become co-chairmen. The move is reminiscent of the duo’s own experience at KCD, when both were appointed partners in 1990 by KCD founders Kezia Keeble, John Duka, and Paul Cavaco.
“The skills of our new partners are well known in the industry, but their titles come with genuine acknowledgment of the wisdom, care and understanding each brings to those they work with through the agency,” said Mannion in the statement.
The new partners include:
Renee Barletta, partner
Jarrad Clark, partner, director of creative services
Txampi Diz, partner, managing director, KCD Paris
Marty Griffeth, partner, director of finance
Laurence Laure, partner, managing director, KCD Paris
Nan Richards, partner, managing director, KCD London
Rachna Shah, partner, managing director, PR and digital
Kerry Youmans, partner
