Katie Holmes returned to NYC to kick off her directorial debut in her new blockbuster All We Had at a screening at Landmark Sunshine Cinema, hosted by The Cinema Society and Ruffino. Holmes also stars in the film, where she plays Rita, the mother of the rather unstable Ruthie played by Stefania Owen. When their car breaks down on the road, they get stuck in a small town and land steady jobs at a local diner, where Rita meets a real estate broker and soon finds that people working at the diner start feeling like family. However, as the diner faces financial troubles (spoiler alert!), Ruthie and Rita face the prospect of homelessness again and revert back to survival mode.

Post-screening, the crew made their way to the after-party at Jimmy at the James Hotel, where guests toasted over Ruffino wines, including Zac Posen, Kelly Ripa, Alysia ReinerJeremy CarverJon and Lizzie Tisch, Amy Sacco, and Holly Peterson.
