Simon Porte Jacquemus is officially in the restaurant game! Today, the designer revealed his latest project on Instagram: Citron, a cafe inside the new Galeries Lafayette flagship on the Champs-Élysées.

The space seems to have a distinct Jacquems vibe. Inspired by the South of France, the café is filled with lemon trees (as expected), ceramics, and mis-matched chairs and tables. Naturally, the menu draws from Southern France as well. The cafe’s Instagram promises plates of seared and marinated vegetables and sardines, as well as toast topped with jam and butter, among other delectables.
But the big culinary draw is sure to be the confections of pastry chef Cédric Grolet. Grolet is known for his trompe-l’oeil deserts that resemble real fruits. For Citron he has created an exclusive lemon, the style and taste of which will apparently “evolve with the seasons.”
