There’s no denying, as far as celebrities-turned-lifestyle-gurus go, Gwyneth Paltrow is killing it. (Blake Lively, anyone?) The latest from her highly successful blog / e-commerce venture goop.com is that it’s headed to NYC next week to throw open the doors of a holiday pop-up shop at the Time Warner Center (conveniently close to The Daily’s office).
“New York Goop Mrkt” will showcase the wares of Carven, Stella McCartney (Paltrow’s closest pal), and a Wonder Woman-inspired collection by Valentino. The latter, we have to admit, has the fashion industry intrigued—Valentino has never collaborated with a celeb, let alone for the creation of superhero clothes—but we’ll get the intel when the Italian fashion house’s creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli host an in-store event and dinner with Paltrow on December 2.
