Editor’s Pick: Scotch & Soda’s Wide-Leg Jeans

by The Daily Front Row

What: One hundred percent cotton denim jeans with striped mesh tape on the sides and a matching denim sash belt.

Who: Scotch & Soda was founded in the Netherlands in the 1980s and today runs their design studio out of a desanctified church in the heart of Amsterdam. The brand is known for their far-flung design inspirations, which usually result in collections full of rich colors, textures, and patterns.

Why: Statement jeans can be kind of a tricky proposition — either too much or too little, and rarely just right.  But these wide-leg denim trousers are special enough to be the star of your outfit while still being versatile enough to pair easily with just about anything.

Where: Available in-store and at Scotch-soda.com.

How (much): $138
