Dolce & Gabbana Graffitis the Streets of the Four Fashion Capitals

by Paige Reddinger

Dolce & Gabbana is headed for the streets! If you’re in Milan, Paris, London or New York this month, watch out for spray-painted renderings of Domenico Dolce, Stefano Gabbana, and the design duo’s pets on the sidewalks of the four major fashion capitals. Throughout the month of May, graffiti artists will be spray-painting the Dolce & Gabbana family all over the streets with the hashtag #DGFamily. Passerby are encouraged to take their own photos with la familia DG and post on social media. The guerilla marketing project is aimed at grabbing the attention of a younger audience and promoting the brand’s ongoing theme of the Dolce & Gabbana family. Past collections have focused on the mother figure and the brand’s campaigns have focused on familial motifs. Benvenuto to the Dolce & Gabbana family millennials!

(And for those that are graffiti opposed, the paint used is made of clay and gypsum, contain no harmful chemicals, and will disappear within a few weeks’ time according to the brand.)
