Digital Direction: Versace's Upcoming Versus Revamp

by The Daily Front Row

(NEW YORK) ‘Tis the season for change and Versus is changing by going seasonless. A new version of the Versace diffusion line will launch online May 15th as a digitally focused, non-seasonal collection. In addition to the main collection, the line will feature collabs with young designers and creatives. When Versus re-launched in 2009 after shuttering in 2005, the first young designer collab the brand did was with Christopher Kane, who is now getting some major attention after having been acquired by that luxury conglomerate formerly known as PPR. If Kane was any indication of the caliber of upcoming collabs, we’ll be paying close attention.

In the meantime, Donatella Versace will tease out her new vision for Versus when she unveils a video of the fresh look in a few days. No word yet on an exact date for the video, but you can keep abreast on the brand’s YouTube and Facebook pages. Any guesses on what all-weather Versus will look like? Stay tuned…
