Coach Gains New VP Of PR, Loses Women's Design Exec

by The Daily Front Row

(NEW YORK) A few more key moves at Coach have surfaced, following major shifts on the design front this year—namely, the hiring of Stuart Vevers in June as executive creative director of Coach, following Reed Krakoff‘s departure from the company in April. Effective December 2nd, Iana dos Reis Nunes will be the first-ever vice president of public relations at the brand. Since July 2012, dos Reis Nunes has been the vice president of global communications at The Row (which, like her new Coach gig, was a brand-new title at the brand). Prior to The Row, dos Reis Nunes was the executive director of PR at Chanel from 2010 to 2012, preceded by a decade at Louis Vuitton.

Other changes at the label include the departure of Sandra Hill, the executive vice president of women’s design. After 10 months at Coach, Hill has decided to leave in pursuit of other interests. She was at men’s e-tailer Bonobos for one year pre-Coach as vice president of creative design, following 16 years at Paul Smith in London, the last three years of which Hill was creative and design director of womenswear. Hill’s replacement has yet to be announced.
