Creative director Sébastien Meunier has done Ann Demeulemeester proud with his Spring 2020 collection for the house. Capturing the label’s dark aesthetic, Meunier delivered a range of tailored separates that skewed just enough from the norm to keep things interesting. There was a great push and pull between delicate elements — like lace, gauzy knits, and straps that romantically hung extra long on some pieces — and leather accessories. It was stark, stoic, and toed the line between refinement and grunge. Essentially, it’s perfect for goths who make a living in office environments.
Behold, great looks for strolling in on a Monday morning after a weekend of hanging out with your coven.
These are good for when you’re chilling at the water cooler and need to remind your coworkers that just because we all live in the Matrix, that doesn’t give them the right to steal the leftovers you were planning to eat for lunch.
These are perfect for company functions/post-work drinks:
When EOD is around the corner and you can’t wait to blast Nick Cave on the drive home.
When you want to channel the confidence of Elvira and the death glare of Vampira as you storm out of yet another meeting that could have been an email.
Casual Friday.
