Tomas Maier’s Second Manhattan Location Is Opening In The West Village

by Dena Silver

Bleecker Street will be graced with yet another tony shopping spot this spring, and your Daily has the exclusive first look. Tomas Maier is opening his fourth eponymous shop of his Kering-backed brand on April 15th. And the new boutique will be in line with the simple-yet-luxurious aesthetic the designer is known for. The space promises a clean backdrop for shoppers, featuring white walls, wood floors, and furniture designed by the late Borge Mogensen, as well as pieces created by Maier himself. Housed in a townhouse that dates back to the 1840s, there will be 900 square feet of shopping space to peruse. The designer’s other boutiques are located in East Hampton, Palm Beach, and in Manhattan on Madison Avenue, but this West Village location will feature exclusive collaborations, including Diptyque for Tomas Maier candles.
