Layoffs Hit Victoria’s Secret

Significant layoffs have hit the Victoria’s Secret office in New York today, and dozens of positions across all levels including senior management have been affected, according to a source inside the organization. The news is not entirely unexpected: according to today’s edition of The Columbus Dispatch, the L Brands-owned company was allegedly planning to lay off approximately 200 staffers at both the Columbus, OH headquarters and New York City office as it integrates its Victoria’s Secret and Pink direct-sales divisions into the store businesses.
