For the past four years, Kat Tanita has made a name for herself as the founder and blogger behind With Love From Kat. Between collaborating with brands and developing a new travel app to recently moving to Paris (mais oui!), the blogger gave us the lowdown on what she’s been up to lately.

Blog description, please!
“With Love From Kat” is a fashion, beauty and travel blog based in Paris.
What were you doing before you started blogging?

I started WLFK as a creative outlet after graduating college with a degree in design. I moved to New York City shortly after that and did PR and social media for a small jewelry company for a year and a half. I would stay up late blogging after work and on the weekends; my blog began to grow, and I was able to quit my job and write WLFK full-time.
How do you think most people find out about your blog?
Pinterest, Instagram, and my sweet mom who tells everyone she meets about my blog. She’s my biggest fan (laughs).
How do you describe your style?
Classic and feminine with a touch of bohemian.
What’s something we’d be surprised to find in your closet?

Color! I swear I wear color…I have been dubbed the “queen of neutrals” by my readers!
Have you been traveling a lot this summer?
Yes! I’ve been all over, for both work and play. I started in London and stayed with one of my best girlfriends. We headed to Capri, Taormina, and Panarea for two weeks, which was such a treat. I headed back to the states for a quick weekend in Nantucket for a friend’s birthday, and then moved to Paris! I also went to St. Tropez for a weekend, then Ibiza, and then I will finally head back to NYC for Fashion Week! I’m excited to see collections from some of my favorite designers like Marissa Webb, Joie, and Zimmermann.
What are three items that you must pack in your suitcase?

My Gigi New York passport cover, L’Occitane eye cream and Eberjey pajamas.
Tell us about your collaboration with Gigi New York.
I’ve had such a wonderful, organic partnership with Gigi New York over the past few years. Being able to go out to their Long Island factory, meet with the team, see the craftsmanship, touch the leathers, and really be involved in every step of the design process has been incredible. I’m currently working on my third collection inspired by Paris, which will include our signature datebooks, luggage tags and passport covers, as well as a gorgeous clutch, tote, and wallet all made of the finest Italian leather.
What other brands have you worked with?

I’ve been able to work with such a diverse set of brands, from M Missoni and L’Oreal to the Four Seasons and Nordstrom. I’m currently doing a really fun hair partnership with Kerastase over the next few months and another beauty collaboration with Laura Mercier.
Tell us about your travel app that’s in the works!
I’m so excited to share a project that I have been passionately working on for the past year.  I’m launching a travel app geared towards 25 to 35-year-old ambitious, jet setters looking for that off the beaten path cafe in Milan, one of a kind vintage store in Paris, and  hidden beach in St. Barths.  The app will include 15 of my favorite cities, offering insider information on where to eat, stay, shop, relax, play, and of course what to wear.  I created this app because I really wanted to offer my readers a curated, stylish travel guide.
When you’re not blogging, working with brands, and creating an app, what do you enjoy doing most?

I am constantly inspired by the art, architecture, and chic girls I see in the streets of the cities I visit.  I also love just hanging out at a cafe, catching up with friends over a glass of rose.  I’m looking forward to reuniting with my girlfriends when I head back to NYC in September!
