Tory Burch Spring/Summer 2017

by The Daily Front Row

This is Tory Burch’s season! With all the color hitting the runways, who could have more fun than the reigning queen of prep? Golf course green, Palm Springs pink, nautical navy and red. The latter half of the show veered towards a more rustic vibe in warm colors like burnt orange and country-style patterns. Tory’s woman is likely to have more than one home so why not have something for the seaside, the country club, and the mountain house? “I like Tory when she does the boho girl,” said Hal Rubenstein, editor-at-large of InStyle. “Tory knows her customer—she’s exuberant, happy, wants to get dressed in something easy that she can slip on and just get out of here and go someplace and have a good time. Her clothes aren’t about sitting in the office, it’s about having a good time and a good life.” But even a working woman can find plenty here. After all, Burch is technically a working woman herself.
