Stuart Weitzman has partnered with nonprofit Pencils of Promise to support global education, and will fund the building of three schools—one in Ghana, Guatemala, and Lao. The footwear brand has also created an exclusive yellow suede version of the NearlyNude block-heel sandal ($398), the proceeds of which will benefit the building project.
To kick off the collaboration, Stuart Weitzman hosted a private dinner at Sadelle’s in New York last night, and the soirée saw a starry red carpet: Gigi Hadid, Solange Knowles, Emmy Rossum, Olivia Culpo, and Joan Smalls (all wearing the PoP NearlyNude yellow sandal), plus Bella Hadid, Olivia Palermo, Julia Reston Roitfeld, and Devon Windsor.
The limited-edition sandal is available at stuartweitzman.com and flagship boutiques in New York, Beverly Hills, Chicago, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Las Vegas, and Costa Mesa.
