Mere weeks ahead of New York Fashion Week it has been announced that Rihanna will join the show schedule — and that she will holding her presentation in Brooklyn! Vogue reports that Ri Ri will unveil her Fall 2018 Savage x Fenty lingerie collection in an yet undisclosed location, and that it will be an “immersive experience.”
Rih’s show will be held at 7:30 on September 12, usurping Marc Jacobs’ spot as the week’s grand finale (he will be showing at 6 pm that day). We doubt that the pop star meant to take any light away from Jacobs, though — the bulk of the schedule has been set for a while, and it was likely the easiest spot to fit her in, especially as she’s asking editors and guests to travel to another borough.
As made clear by the fact that she is showing Fall 2018, the collection will be shop-able online immediately after the show. There will also be pop-up shops in New York, the Mall of America, and two soon-to-be-announced locations. Hopefully she’ll be bringing that “immersive experience” to fans as well!
