The Windy City is about to have lots of options for getting gussied up. Rent The Runway is opening a space in Chicago, located in the Gold Coast area at 710 North Wabash Ave. The store will clock in at nearly 3,000-square-feet and will open its doors on April 30. This is the fourth brick-and-mortar outpost for the chic rental business; its existing locations are in NYC, Las Vegas, and D.C. Expect “selfie mirrors” in the fitting rooms and iPad minis for saving your try-ons to reference down the line. The first Midwestern location will rent out its signature slew of designer frocks, plus separates and accessories, and will offer appointments with stylists for $25 a pop.
