Philipp Plein Debuts New Campaign Video Shot by Steven Klein

Philipp Plein has debuted his new Autumn/Winter 2016 campaign shot by Steven Klein and featuring the designer’s “superheroes” Chris Brown, Carmen Dell’Orefice, Soo Joo Park, and Crystal Renn. In Plein’s futuristic world, the bold and the beautiful of all ages and ethnicities stylishly take on the world in lace gowns, crystal catsuits, leather jackets and luxury sneakers. The campaign and collection was inspired by vintage American comic books, as well as the Dark Knight and Avengers sagas. “The struggle is real but there is hope,” reads the press statement about the video. “We need to search deep inside ourselves to find the belief, strength, and determination to become superhuman.”

If you’re one of Philipp Plein’s 364,000 Instagram followers (@philipplein78), you may already be wondering if Plein himself is, in fact, superhuman. Whether he’s jet-setting from his tony townhouse in Manhattan to any number of his residences around the world like his mansion in Cannes, Plein seems to be living the life. His hashtag is famously #workworkwork and #allthewayup, and from the looks of it, this superhero’s empire is on the rise.
