Michael Kors Fall/Winter 2016

by The Daily Front Row

“There’s always been this cast of characters,” said Michael Kors of the inspo behind his fall collection. “Everyone from Lee Radziwill to Diana Ross to Kate Moss to Blake Lively…women who are stylish understand mixings things up.” Kors gave us a lot to work with, pairing feathery denim with sixties-style pea coats and mixng a slimmed down take on a sequined harem pant with a button-up, sweater, and camel jacket. The floral motif manifested in groovy fur jackets and stoles. On the accessory front, chunky cloafers and round-toe heels are paired winningly with structured chain bags.  As Kors toasts his collection’s 35th anniversary, his ideas are feeling fresher than ever.
