This past weekend, our L.A. correspondent Sydney Sadick celebrated Tommy Hilfiger’s Surf Shack summer initiative at The Brig in Venice. Here’s a recap of her night!
The surf was up in Venice Beach, thanks to Tommy Hilfiger and his celeb gang. On Friday eve, an intimate group gathered at a kitschy bar for a live performance by badbad, a musical group comprised of Chelsea Tyler (aka daughter of Steven Tyler) and Jon Foster. Amid shutterbugs, beachy themed cocktails, and the VIP mingling, the duo entertained the crowd with hits from their upcoming West Coast tour. Out to support? Twilight’s Peter Facinelli, Jamie Alexander, James Marsden, Leven Rambin, Gabriel Mann, Kimberly & James Van Der Beek (cute couple alert!), Harry Treadaway, and James Frecheville. And to top it all off, Hilfiger’s iconic 1970s Surf Shack bus was on display at the event, adding to the laid-back vibe in preparation for its grand opening to the public. California dreaming, indeed.
