Kola House Holds Holiday Fundraiser for The Center

by Eddie Roche

A new holiday tradition was born last night when Kola House held its first fundraiser to get in the season spirit and raise some funds for The Center, the West Village community center for NYC’s LGBT community. Lisle Richards organized the event with pals Pippa Cohen, Rigo Lora, Florent Belda, Baja East’s Scott Studenberg and John Targon on hosting duties. Putting on their Sunday best to raise $11,000 for the center were RJ King, Jean Marc Hourmard, Emerson Barth, Alexis Bittar, Theo Battaglia, Marc Rozic, Bill Wackermann, Wil Ashley, and Paul Margolin. The eye candy quotient was courtesy mods from Wilhelmina, Elite, IMG, and Q, with tunes by Chelsea Leyland. Kola House is in the former The Monarch Room space and serves American cuisine with a global influence by chef Jon Feshan.
