A mere seven hours after giving birth to her third child, Kate Middleton presented her newest offspring to the press on the steps of the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital on Monday evening in London. The baby, whose name has still yet to be announced, was wrapped in a GH Hurt and Son LTD white shawl (yes, even Royal shawl-makers get a fashion credit) for his official introduction to the world.
Kate dressed to the nines for the occasion and didn’t look the least bit tired. She even wore heels! The Duchess emerged in a bright red sheath dress with a white lace Peter Pan collar from Brit designer Jenny Packham, a look delivered to her by her stylist Natasha Archer, who was spotted exiting the Lindon Wing an hour before the birth. Packham has become something of a post-birth go-to for Middleton, who selected a yellow silk shift from Packham after Princess Charlotte’s birth and a blue polka-dot frock from the designer after welcoming Prince George. Each time, Middleton looked beyond with a perfectly blown out locks and immaculately pressed, un-shiny skin.
The baby boy’s birth comes less than a month before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to walk down the aisle on May 19. We wonder now who will dress the newborn for the nupitals — we’re pulling for you GH Hurt and Son LTD!
