Justin Timberlake and Trace Ayala launched an exclusive men’s collection of William Rast with Gilt.com this week. The collection includes a suede jacket (pictured on JT), sunglasses, footwear, and first access for one week to their relaxed chinos, denim jackets, and an embroidered bomber jacket. Prices for this collection range from $69 for accessories up to $369 for outerwear. Timberlake recently told Gilt that there’s no difference between being a a designer and a musician: “I don’t consider myself a designer,” he said. “Trace and I are more curators of culture for William Rast.” The brand celebrated a decade-plus in business last year with a few breaks here and there to reorganize. Still, it’s a milestone in the unpredictable world of celeb-helmed labels—paging Beyoncé’s defunct House of Dereon.
