GQ Taps Jon Tietz As Fashion Editor

There’s a new fashion-focused bloke joining team GQJon Tietz has been named fashion editor, focused on tailored clothing, at the Conde glossy. He succeeds Justin Doss, who left the title in March after two and a half years on the job. Tietz was formerly a men’s merchant at Club Monaco; he joined the retailer in October. Prior to Club Monaco, Tietz was director of sales and operations at Miller’s Oath for a year and a half. “I’m excited to join GQ and have the opportunity to work with such a fantastic team,” said Tietz told The Daily via email. “I have been a longtime fan of the magazine and I look forward to contributing to its ongoing growth and success.” In his new capacity Tietz will report to GQ‘s creative director, Jim Moore. “His sartorial expertise and cool, refined taste will be an asset to the tailored coverage of the magazine,” Moore said in a statement. “Jon’s experience makes him the perfect fit and we look forward to welcoming him onboard.” Tietz began his new gig on Monday.
