Giampaolo Sgura shot Natasha Poly for Alberta Ferretti’s Limited Edition demi-couture collection, which she unveiled in her Parisian maison at 43 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré this week. The collection, which includes 18 dresses named after magical visions inspired by the Shalimar Gardens, features luxe body-clinging silk satin and shantung molds in the more structured looks. Embroidery was embellished with crystal beads on organza and silk tulle dresses or worked into floral fret patterns on chiffon and silk satin.
The series of photos highlight the sensual glamour and movement of the gowns as well as the romanticism always inherent in Ferretti’s collections. She first introduced her demi-couture collection in 2011 to make unique, made-to-measure creations tailored specifically to her clients needs. Check out a few of the pieces, below.
