David Yurman has tapped Gabriella Forte as CEO. Yurman himself had been CEO for the past 14 months, following the departure of Glen Senk. Forte has been a longtime board member chez Yurman. She was most recently general manager of Dolce & Gabbana’s beauty division, in addition to being a senior consultant at the maison. Forte has also worked at the likes of Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani in addition to Dolce & Gabbana in various marketing, licensing, and distribution capacities. She spent a decade and a half at Armani, including a stint as EVP.
Forte’s appointment is effective immediately; she will report directly to David and Sybil Yurman.
