Elizabeth & James Signs Exclusive Deal With Kohl’s (Business of Fashion)
Elizabeth & James, the mid-priced line designed by Ashley and Mary Kate Olsen, is dropping its price point and moving to Kohl’s. The deal comes after the brand shuttered its store and laid off its design team. Kohl’s will now exclusively sell Elizabeth & James’ clothing, accessories, and beauty products. The future collection will be designed by the Kohl’s design team, with oversight from the Olsen sisters.

Bernard Arnault Is Now the World’s Third-Richest Man (Forbes)
Bernard Arnault, chairman and CEO of LVMH, has overtaken Warren Buffet as the world’s third-richest man. Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates sit in the #1 and #2 spots, respectively. Arnault and his family are ranked with a net worth of $91.53 billion. LVMH has had a particularly good year, especially with Chinese consumers. According to Business of Fashion, the company reported revenue of $14.1 billion in the first quarter of this year.

N21 Will Hold Coed Runways From Now On
Beginning with the Spring 2020 season, N21 will present its men’s and women’s collections together. “A mix of feminine and masculine elements has always represented one of the brand’s style codes,” said Alessandro Dell’Acqua, founder and creative director of the brand. “That’s why I feel that presenting the men’s and women’s collections together is perfectly natural, in sync with a creative game plan calling for an ever closer connection between the two.”

To celebrate its new Powder Kiss lipstick collection, M∙A∙C threw an elaborate cabaret-themed party that was a tribute to New York nightlife. Alan Cumming and nightlife icon Susanne Bartsch MC’d the evening, which featured performances by Amanda Lepore, Dirty Martini, Joey Arias, and Julie Atlas Muz.

Last night in Paris, Cyrille Vigneron, president and CEO of Cartier International, hosted a gala dinner to celebrate the launch of the brand’s new collection, Clash de Cartier. Guests including Jake Gyllenhaa, Sofia Coppola, Monica Bellucci, Rami Malek, Lucy Boynton, Claire Foy, Letitia Wright, Tilda Swinton, Alek Wek, Beth Ditto, Haider Ackermann, and Natacha Ramsay-Levi  enjoyed performances from L’Impératrice, Chris (ex. Christine & the Queens), Billy Idol, and 2 Many DJ’s.
