New York Fashion Week is always a display of standout style and for Cass DiMicco, founder of celeb-loved accessories empire Aureum Collective, this past season was no exception. Between attending runway shows, hosting Aureum’s first-ever wholesale preview day, and catching up with industry insiders, Cass gave The Daily Front Row an exclusive look into her NYFW outfits, streetwear styling, and go-to accessories.
While dressing for YSL, Prada and more, Cass blended masculine tailoring with feminine statement jewelry pieces – always finishing the look with an Aureum belt. As an expert in the accessories space – Aureum had its best sales year yet, reaching 8 figures in 2024 with Cass singlehandedly designing every collection – Cass shows that the right accessories can truly elevate any ensemble.
From polished minimalism that embraced key winter textures, luxe knitwear, and sleek monochromatic looks, to final touches of Aureum belts, sunglasses, and jewelry that added just the right amount of edge, Cass continues to be a trendsetter off the runway for her community of millions.
The Looks: Styling NYFW in the Cold
Dressing for February in New York means one thing, coats take center stage. It was quite cold in NYC, so the hero piece for every look was definitely the coat,” Cass says. She built each outfit around a neutral capsule wardrobe base, allowing her statement accessories to shine. “I love starting with a neutral base and then playing around with accessories to elevate the look.” Whether it was a structured wool coat by Toteme paired with gold Aureum jewelry or a tailored The Row suit softened by a draped wrap coat, her fashion week looks were the perfect mix of classic and contemporary.

When chatting about all things trends for the cold this season she shared, “ Leopard print, capes and wrap coats, and power suiting were everywhere!”. These bold yet timeless pieces dominated the streets
and front rows, proving that statement outerwear and strong silhouettes are here to stay. Designers like Khaite, Michael Kors, and Carolina Herrera leaned into these trends, sending tailored blazers, dramatic outerwear, and luxe animal prints down the runway.

A Day in the Life: NYFW Edition
Cass’s schedule was packed from morning to night. “Over the years, my fashion week experience has evolved to be more founder-focused and centered around Aureum,” she explains. This season was particularly exciting as she hosted Aureum’s first-ever wholesale day, marking a major milestone for the brand. When she wasn’t in back-to-back meetings or recording podcast interviews, she was attending shows and reconnecting with the fellow female founders in the industry. “It’s always a highlight to reconnect with my friends and the incredible women in the industry—there’s such incredible energy during NYFW.” One of the week’s standout moments was attending the Prada & YSL shows, where sleek tailoring and bold pieces took center stage.

The Accessories Forecast: What’s Next for Aureum in 2025?
Statement accessories are Cass’s specialty, and she has a keen eye for what’s coming next. “Pony hair belts are having a major moment right now—one of our best-selling styles is our cow and leopard pony hair belts, and I believe this trend is just starting to gain momentum.” She also predicts a shift toward lighter suede belts, moving away from the deep chocolate tones of fall and into softer hues for spring. With the return of animal prints on the rise, expect to see even more bold, textured accessories in 2025.
