Carolyn Murphy has a new venture: a 10-piece lingerie capsule with Brit label Cheek Frills. The model, who also serves as women’s design director for Shinola, met the company’s co-founder Kate Canvin in the Hamptons last year. The duo discussed the venture after sharing Murphy’s struggle to find lingerie that was appropriate for her 14-year-old daughter, Dylan, to wear, according to WWD.
The spread, which is set to launch in July, will feature feminine bras, panties, pajamas, and teddies in Cheek Frills’ signature, organically-dyed modal cotton. Think muted pink, blue, and gray hues with splashes of stripes, a dandelion pattern, and lace finishes. Brigitte Bardot served as inspiration for the capsule collection.
The line is priced from $55 to $150 and will be available online exclusively at Net-a-Porter.com. It will also be sold in stores including Selfridges in London and Le Bon Marché in Paris. By next spring, you can expect to shop the collection in U.S. stores, too.
