To celebrate 35 years in the biz (bravo!) Carolina Herrera took a fresh approach with its Resort 2017 collection, and tapped Kiernan Shipka to model a selection of pieces. The collection embraces the house’s iconic style, including signature motifs in black and white polka dots, crisp stripes in navy and white or a rainbow of color, and modern feminine silhouettes. Luxe fabrics like tulle and fil coupe come in multi-layered pleats and metallic prints. The house first broke the portfolio on Snapchat’s Discover platform, Sweet, a first for the media outlet. Have always loved Kiernan. She has an excellent fashion sense and always dressed age appropriately. But am I the only one to see that she has gotten painfully thin? I hope she is okay.
