by The Daily Front Row

We can’t “believe” this! Cher and her Bob Mackie, her longtime costume designer, have parted ways. “Telling you something that has broken my heart,” Cher tweeted yesterday. “The man who made all my costumes since 1972 decided he couldn’t do my last tour.” The duo have been working together since 1967 and were expected to reunite for Cher’s 4,538th farewell tour, entitled “Dress to Kill”, kicking off next weekend in Phoenix. Could it be that Cher simply forgot to ask him? Mackie told The Daily in September that they hadn’t even spoken about the tour costumes yet. “I won’t work with her for years and then she’ll call and say she’s coming back,” Mackie told us. “Nothing ever gets decided ahead of time.” Cher’s dresses to kill will now be designed by her new babe, Hugh Durant. “He is talented & brave,” she Tweeted. “We will persevere.” Carry on…
