All about Yves: This summer, a comprehensive exhibit chronicling Yves Saint Laurent’s life will bow at the Bowes Museum in County Durham, England. Expect 50 pieces from Saint Laurent’s personal archive to be on display at the showing, entitled “Yves Saint Laurent: Style is Eternal.” The show was put together in tandem with the Pierre Bergé—Yves Saint Laurent Foundation.
“The Bowes Museum is a natural destination given its exceptional work with fashion and textiles; the museum and its location also clearly reflects Saint Laurent’s and my own passion for inspiring, timeless places,” Bergé told Vogue UK of the show’s selected venue. “It is the perfect setting for us—a museum built as a French Chateau, in the age of the Second Empire.”
The exhibit will debut on July 11; you can catch a glimpse of the late designer’s work through October 25.
