Yahoo Beauty has named Dana Oliver its beauty director, beginning June 13. She joins the all-things-beauty division of Yahoo from The Huffington Post where she was the executive fashion and beauty editor covering breaking news and pop culture trends. Previously, Oliver worked at AOL’s StyleList as an assistant editor and then editor. In her new role, Oliver will oversee beauty features and market coverage, as well as original video content. The announcement follows relatively recent news that Yahoo is shutting down many of its vertical content sites, including Yahoo Food, Yahoo Health, and Yahoo Autos.
