Tod’s went retro for Fall/Winter 2016. The Italian luxury brand’s new ad campaign pays tribute to a couple of fashion’s biggest icons from the Swinging Sixties, including Jean Shrimpton, Jane Birkin and Twiggy. The three British babes are pictured in their heyday in black and white portraits adjacent to images of Tod’s items, like the an ultra covetable pair of loafers with the brand’s new double T symbol, a bag with woven leather and tassel details, and a classic white shoulder bag. Chic, luxurious simplicity has always been Tod’s calling card. The brand has been creating timeless icons since its inception, and the new campaign is both a nod to that heritage and a reminder that…some things will always be in style. “Timeless Icons” officially debuts online and in print in September.
