The Daily Summer surfed into the weekend with Lands’ End at the brand’s adorable pop-up boutique in Southampton to celebrate—and shop—two of its new sub-brands: Canvas by Lands’ End and Lands’ End Sport. Naturally, the tide was high on the attendance front, where guests like Fern Mallis, GQ’s Jon Wilde, Wilhelmina CEO Bill Wackermann, Kipton Cronkite, blogger Grace Atwood, model Andressa Costa, Andrew Nodell, and Charlie McMillan joined the afternoon fun.
The brand has quickly become the new cool kid on the block, and to give us the scoop on its first Hamptons dig, we caught up with Lands’ End’s director of new initiatives (who’s part of the retail team), Tom Gullo. “We love being here! Who wouldn’t want to be? It’s so charming!” said Gullo. “We know there’s a strong Lands’ End customer base here who understands our company’s merchandise quality, and we know that we have a story to tell new prospective customers about our fashion, quality, and value—this is such an exciting time for our brand. We are so excited to be in Southampton and the response has been great so far, which makes it fun.” Guests left with complimentary canvas totes with their purchases (which make for the perfect beach and travel bags). Shop the pop-up through Labor Day, and check out pics from the afternoon, below.
