Sartorial darling Selena Gomez brings her cool, candid, and courageous self to Vogues April issue, where she graces the cover. Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott lensed the 24-year-old actress and singer in a Michael Kors Collection punchy, floral two-piece set that features sequined rosettes and a bustier neckline. Inside, the Texan beauty gives off rocker-chic vibes when posing on the beach in a Coach 1941 red leather jacket with mini black floral shorts paired with heavy metal jewels. In another image, Gomez looks fresh and fierce in a Balenciaga two-piece bold green pattern, which features a high neckline top with cut-outs and high-waisted pants.

Gomez sits down with Rob Haskell for a tell-all, dishing on mental health, stepping back from the limelight, and her new approach to Instagram. While Gomez has 113M Instagram followers (and counting), she doesn’t post as frequently. In fact, the app is no longer on her phone, and Gomez doesn’t have the password to her own account! “As soon as I became the most followed person on Instagram, I sort of freaked out,” Gomez told Haskell. “It had become so consuming to me. It’s what I woke up to and went to sleep to. I was an addict, and it felt like I was seeing things I didn’t want to see, like it was putting things in my head that I didn’t want to care about. I always end up feeling like shit when I look at Instagram. Which is why I’m kind of under the radar, ghosting it a bit.”
