Marco de Vincenzo’s New Collaboration with Artist Agostino Iacurci

Longing for warmer climes? Marco de Vincenzo just delivered a lust-worthy collection of resort pieces in collaboration with Italian artist Agostino Iacurci at The Webster in Miami last week that should have you planning your next vacation and the wardrobe to go with it. The eight-piece collaboration captures the essence of Miami in colors and textures inherent to Marco de Vincenzo’s designs as well as nods to the Art Deco period reflective of some of Miami’s most celebrated buildings. The graphic foliage patterns are by Iacurci and are weaved through glittery knits, printed onto pleated silks or adorning oxford shirts and ruffled slip dresses. Iacurci is known for his colorful large scale paintings and murals.

“Agostino colors the world. I imagine him staring at a sad facade and bringing it back to life,” said de Vincenzo in a statement about the collaboration. “This is why I love his work, because it changes the perception of the space that surrounds us. With The Webster, its colorful lure and artistic sensitivity, all this came out perfectly.”

The collection is exclusive to The Webster and will be available through December 21st, so act fast.

“I originally fell in love with the unique Art Deco architecture in Miami and chose it as my first location for The Webster, so this collaboration with Marco de Vincenzo and Agostino Iacurci was a natural progression in leading the charge of high fashion for art admirers alike,” said Laure Heriard Debreuil, founder of The Webster. “The collection is rich, delicate and a strong representation of The Webster brand.”
