Maastricht-born beauty Kiki Willems and Re:Quest Model’s Lou Gaillot co-star in the newest Jimmy Choo ad campaign, lensed by photographer Daniel Jackson against colorful canvases in tones of iris, icy blue, and marigold, thanks to the vision of famed set designer Shona Heath. In the video, the canvases come to life to highlight the flora-inspired shoes for Spring 2017. Heath, who’s well-known for making photographer Tim Walker’s fantasy sets come to life, has also also worked on campaigns for ready-to-wear brands like Dior, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, and Valentino.
“I wanted the new campaign to portray the Jimmy Choo woman and man in the same environment,” said Jimmy Choo’s creative director Sandra Choi in a statement. “The one-of-a-kind beauty found in nature was a key inspiration for the Spring Summer collection and how we need to pause in our busy lives to stop for a moment and marvel at the wonders we co-exist with. The oversized perspective of the set reinforces the extraordinarily mesmerizing power of nature.”
