Rihanna Turned Down the Super Bowl Halftime Show in Protest (US Weekly)
Rihanna reportedly turned down performing the 2019 Super Bowl halftime show in support of Colin Kaepernick. “The NFL and CBS really wanted Rihanna to be next year’s performer in Atlanta,” a source told US Weekly. “They offered it to her, but she said no because of the kneeling controversy. She doesn’t agree with the NFL’s stance.” Rih fans needn’t worry about being deprived from seeing the star — this week she launched her first beauty video in her Tutorial Tuesday series.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus Helps Saks Fifth Avenue Fight Cancer
Last night Saks Fifth Avenue and Julia Louis-Dreyfus hosted a cocktail event to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Key to the Cure. Saks is selling a special t-shirt designed by Wes Gordon of Carolina Herrera with 100% of the proceeds going to AiRS Foundation. “I’m a breast cancer survivor so that is a huge part of my involvement with Saks’ Key To The Cure,” Louis-Dreyfus said. “And, I’m absolutely thrilled that the AiRS Foundation is the beneficiary of the sales of the limited edition Key To The Cure t-shirt. Every penny from the t-shirt sales benefits the foundation, which helps women who are unable to afford breast reconstruction surgery post-mastectomy.”

Artists and Creatives Come Together to Celebrate House of Peroni
Last night Peroni and the Art Production Fund celebrated the third annual installment of the House of Peroni — a pop-up installation designed by Jenny Sabin. Guests such as Olivia Palermo, Simon Huck, Ezra Williams, and Casey Fremont munched on candy from Sweet Saba, and danced to tunes provided by DJ Harley Viera Newton.
