James Goldcrown, the muralist famous for his Bleeding Hearts/Lovewall, is launching a limited-edition range of women’s underwear and bras, marking his first fashion partnership in the undergarment space. In the capsule, you’ll find a cheeky boy brief, thong, and bralette, all featuring a custom heart pattern reminiscent of Goldcrown’s Lovewall murals. “Friendship first and love of the product second,” is what sparked this collaboration, the artist told us. Also, “quality and comfort.”
“Women’s undergarments is uncharted territory, so it’s a big difference [from my other fashion projects], but it is still fashion, which I’ve done before,” Goldcrown added. The collection is available for pre-sale starting January 22 at Related Garments. As for where else Goldcrown is spreading the love these days? Across the street from Trump Tower with a mural at Henri Bendel, and with a few Lovewalls in Venice, California.
