Eva Chen Makes Major Announcement Via Instagram

Twitter is so last Tuesday: devoted Instagram user Eva Chen took to the application today to announce some big news: She’s pregnant. Lucky‘s chief creative officer posted a picture of her wearing New Balance sneakers and two twee, toddler-sized NB’s writing: ‘#evachenpose: like mother, like future (winter 2015!) daughter edition.’ Chen is married to Tom Bannister, whom she met while studying at Oxford University during her senior year of college. Chen is also going through a rebirth of sorts at Lucky, with the recent news that the magazine is now in the hands of e-commerce site Beachmint. Adweek reported earlier this month that the Lucky gang won’t be joining the Conde family in their upcoming World Trade Center home, with Chen telling them her team has been looking at offices around Astor Place and Flatiron, closer to other fashion and tech startups.
